On Monday, November 24th, the soulful and eclectic Republic
of Loose, oft dubbed the "Irish Outkast," will grace the legendary stage at S.O.B.'s with their unabashedly provocative funk-rock sound.
Perhaps best-known for their second album, "Aaagh!", released in 2006, the Dublin-based Republic of Loose has made a name for themselves across the globe. "Aaagh!" which debuted at #2 on the Irish charts, also garnered international praise, including several top 40 hits in South Africa. The group boasts appearances at several high-profile festivals, including appearances at Glastonbury, T In The Park, The Fleadh, Oxygen and the Transmusicale, Nice Jazz and Furia Sound festivals in France. The Neville Brothers, The Thrills, The Zutons, Scissor Sisters, Alabama 3, Fun Lovin’ Criminals, Snow Patrol, The Roots, and Dilated Peoples are just a few of the acts with whom Republic of Loose has shared the stage.
