S.O.B.'s, New York's home for world-class live hip-hop, and Hot 97, New York's home for world-class hip-hop on the radio, are excited to announce Immortal Technique, one of the hottest, most volatile, up-and-coming mc's on the planet will be performing December 16th at 7pm. In a night hosted by Poisen Pen and Peter Rosenberg, Akir, Spark Flame, The Circle, and Response will all hit the stage throughout the night as well. 

Immortal Technique first came to the United States in the early 1980's. He was born in a military hospital in his native Peru, and came to America to escape the civil war ravaging his home country. His family landed in Harlem where Tech fell into the lawless, violent environment that encapsulated the area
and was eventually incarcerated for some violent offenses. 

Upon his being paroled, Tech entered every battle he could find all over the city, opened for mainstream acts and released his first independent album. Slowly but surely he climbed the ranks of the hip-hop hierarchy gaining respect all the way for his uncompromising anti-establishment views, intensely fierce vocal style, and enrapturing live performances. Now he is one of the most respected names in hip-hop and is motivated to use his music as a weapon to fight tyranny, oppression, and incite political action and positive change.
