On Sunday February 17th, S.O.B.'s celebrates it's 25th Annual Brazilian Carnaval weekend, and on this night, they're doing it with a twist of Baile Funk.  Baile Funk, also known as Funk Carioca ("Funk from Rio" in Brazilian Portuguese), is an energetic style of dance music from Rio de Janeiro, derived from and superficially similar to Miami Bass, with deep rapid beats and aggressive vocals.  Although baile funk originated from Rio, it is popular amongst young people throughout all of Brazil and has grown into a driving force in contemporary Brazilian youth culture.

On February 17th, the youth culture of Brazil comes to S.O.B.'s, in the form of a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience a Baile Funk party, with authentic beats and real artists, direct from Brazil.
