Welcome to SOBS
The Home of Universal Music

Well, 2006 went “Bye Bye!” Once again, S.O.B.'s would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Despite some obstacles, last year was a great year for us, we had many great musicians from different genres of music bless our stage. Kanye West, Naz, Kelis, Jill Scott, Floetry, John Legend, Spanish Harlem Orchestra, Los Amigos Invinsibles, Ogans, Brazooka from Brazil, Oliver Mtukudzi, and a whole host of other international artists as well as the Haitian artists you've become accustomed to seeing on the S.O.B.'s stage; WYCLEF JEAN- CARIMI-DJAKOUT-ZENGLEN-KREYOLA-T-VICE-509-ZIN-BOUKMAN EKSPERYANS-RAM-EDDY FRANCOIS-ERROL JOSUE- TANTAN- SWEET MICKY THE PRESIDENT OF KONPA-TABOU-COMBO- SKAH-SHAH-MAGNUM BAND-NU-LOOK- STRINGS- EMELINE MICHEL-BEETHOVA OBAS-REGINALD POLICARD- MOZAYIK- BUYU AMBROISE-BONGA- TOP-VICE- SEPTENTRIONAL- TROPICANA- ETC…ETC…All have blessed our stage this past year, and S.O.B.'s would like to thank you for all your support for the past 25 years in helping us maintain the official title “HOME OF HAITIAN MUSIC AND CULTURE” in Manhattan, New York. We thank all the fans who walked through our doors last year, and we extend our invitation once again for this year and many more to come, After 25 years of continuous music, one thing you can be certain about S.O.B.'s is, “We will not stop providing you with quality music, and great diversity forever.” So, this year, feel free to visit us anytime, and rest assured that once our doors are open, we will always make sure that there is a quality live music on our stage!!!!! That’s our guarantee to you, all you have to do is show up, and we will do the rest!!!

LAST FRIDAY, S.O.B.'s brought you DJAKOUT MIZIK. For those of you who were here, thanks for coming down. I know you had a great time. For those of you who unfortunately couldn't get in, sorry but the show was super sold out. Perhaps next time, you can secure your place by purchasing advance tickets at S.O.B.'s, or at Ticketmaster.com. Djakout Mizik brought S.O.B.'s to a halt. I have to say these guys are really awesome. They played from 1:00am straight to 4:00am. That’s a lot of music and stamina. Not too many groups can do that, or have done that, with the exception of Sweet Micky of course, he can go forever! Big up to Djakout Mizik. We will, of course, be bringing them back some time this year, Pouchon and the entire band rocked the stage, it was an awesome show!!!!

THIS FRIDAY, We are bringing two of the hottest DJ’s to join forces and spin the best of both worlds, Konpa & Zouk . We are bringing DJ Spike from Paris, where he is known as one of the hottest and most popular Zouk & Konpa Djs. We've matched him with DJ BOBBY JAMZ of the Untouchables, as we all know, Bobby Jamz is New York’s “Pound for Pound” hottest DJ in the business, and he is also the resident DJ of S.O.B.'s. So this is going to be big. Two hot young Djs going at it. Both Djs will be set up on stage with one objective... to keep you on the dance floor. It’s going to be hot… and to make it hotter, we've decided to let all the LADIES IN FOR FREE!!!! That’s right I said it, “LADIES FREE ALL NIGHT LONG” AND $10.00 admission for the men, this is one of our ways to give back to “You the fans.” So, come down and enjoy the S.O.B.'s French-Caribbean Fridays experience. We will be serving “Fri-Tay” Griot, Barbancourt, Prestige just like Lakay… Nou Pa Ka Pa La/
Vin’n Brasse nan S.O.B.'s vendredi
